Our Non-Woven Polyester Air Filter Media is manufactured using 100% virgin Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) synthetic fibers through an advanced hot-air thermal bonding non-woven process. Engineered completely free of chemical binders, resins, or solvents, this premium synthetic media delivers a uniform fiber web with exceptionally high mechanical strength. Ideal for primary HVAC pre-filtration, automotive spray booth ceiling air diffusion, and custom filter converting, it offers outstanding dust holding capacity and low airflow resistance across demanding industrial environments.
Advanced Non-Woven Thermal Bonding Process Unlike traditional chemical-bonded fleece, our non-woven polyester media utilizes pure thermal bonding. The synthetic fibers melt slightly at controlled temperatures to fuse together naturally, forming a durable 3D mesh structure. This process eliminates binder breakdown, shedding, and toxic volatile organic compound (VOC) off-gassing, making it completely safe for sensitive commercial and industrial ventilation systems.
3D Progressive Density Gradient Structure Designed with a progressive density fiber layout, the non-woven matrix transitions smoothly from coarse, open fibers on the air-inlet side to a dense, fine fiber layer on the air-outlet side. This multi-layered retention mechanism allows coarse dust particles to be trapped deep within the web body rather than clogging the surface prematurely, maintaining low initial static pressure (20-35Pa) and extending operational service life.
Flame Retardant & Environmental Safety Safety is integral to our manufacturing standard. Integrated with flame-retardant synthetic fibers, our non-woven filter media fully complies with international fire safety standards including DIN 53438 Class F1 and UL 900 Class 2. In the event of high thermal exposure, the material exhibits self-extinguishing properties without releasing hazardous fumes or flaming droplets.
High Moisture Resistance & Dimensional Stability The 100% hydrophobic PET non-woven fibers do not absorb moisture or support mold and bacterial growth. Even in humid operating conditions or high-airflow AHU systems, the media retains its loftiness, structural fluffiness, and filtration efficiency without collapsing, performing reliably up to 100℃
